The gorgeous-looking Tchia launches on 21st March, on both PS5 and PS4, and today we got a new trailer looking at yet another gameplay system. This time, Tchia's impressively intricate ukelele mechanics are in the spotlight.
The ukelele is integrated into open-world exploration and the story itself, used for performing Soul Melodies (allowing Tchia to inhabit objects temporarily) and forging friendships with fellow musos you meet along the way. It is also a fully-realised virtual instrument, capable of playing any chord imaginable (down to changing your strumming direction), and we can't wait to see the clips that come out of this aspect alone.
Will you be ditching your guitar lessons and jamming out instead with Tchia? Rock out in the comments section below.

Reminds me of the guitar from The Last of Us Pt 2.
Cool that it has actual gameplay mechanics tied to it!
What an awesome feature. Can’t wait to mess around with a virtual ukulele
Youtube cover songs incoming using this game. I'm guessing 1000 at least by the time this game is a month old.
Very cool mechanic
I hope that it is not a requirement to do to go further into the game
I love everything ive seen of this little gem, and this mechanic is no exception ..
@Dman10 They specifically address that concern in the video, watch it to find out.
This is shaping up to be an incredible game.
